Four Seasons Resort Aviara project included guest rooms, back office areas, restaurants, and public areas.
For the 320 guest rooms, Quality Cabinet & Fixture supplied and installed paint grade base, crown, casing, door trim, FRP vanities, GRG corridor arches, and cabinetry. The guest room package also included 4 deluxe suites with blueprint matched Anegre paneling and various stained and painted wood millwork.
QCFC also furnished the woodwork for both restaurants at the Four Seasons: The Bistro (casual dining) and Vivace (formal dining). For The Bistro, QCFC supplied matched Rift White Oak paneling, White Oak hardwoods, distressed Fir ceiling beams, arched window casings, and built-in buffet fixtures. Vivace was outfitted with Anegre paneling, Maple hardwood millwork, and lighted fixtures.
QCFC’s woodwork for the public areas, accounting for almost half of the entire project, included the lobby, hallways, ballrooms, pre-function rooms, health club facility, and lounge. The lobby, hallways, and lounge included a vast amount of matched Anegre paneling and Maple solids that covered archways, walls, and several vestibule areas (walls & ceilings). The grand stair railing was also included in the public areas, and was completely engineered and shaped by QCFC. Other notable areas include the elevator interiors with matching paneling and beveled mirrors. The lounge was also supplied with a unique custom metal back-bar fixture and beveled mirrors.
QCFC provided numerous built-in fixtures including the front desk, concierge, lounge bar and health club reception desk. These pieces were made of raised Carpathian Elm Burlwood panels on a conforming Maple hardwood base.
The entire project, over 4 million dollars, was completed in a 450 day schedule. Notably, this was a very aggressive schedule that QCFC was able to accomplish with little flaw. QCFC took extra care to coordinate field conditions with other contractors prior to framing and rough-ins. Additionally, QCFC’s millwork shop drawings were so well executed that the owner of the Four Seasons used them to define the interior design coordination. |
