George Garcia
Project Manager
George Garcia has been in the woodworking industry for over 37 years. In the mid-1980s, he was promoted to Field Superintendent, where he oversaw the installation of multiple high-end retail department stores, office interiors, country clubs, resorts, and restaurants. He has been employed at Quality Cabinet for 22 years, with the past 11 years as a Project Manager. His project management expertise has enabled him to complete complex projects such as the Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disneyland, Four Seasons Resort at Westlake Village, The Montage Resort at Beverly Hills and Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in Newport Beach, California. Starting as a Cabinet Industry Apprentice on the shop floor in the Assembly and Mill departments, George has meticulously worked his way up through the ranks.
Rick Dempsey
Director of Engineering
Rick Dempsey joined Quality Cabinet 27 years ago as a Journeyman Cabinetmaker after serving eight years in the U.S. Navy as a builder in the Naval Seabee division. In 1994, he was instrumental in integrating CNC technology into the Quality Cabinet manufacturing facility, and in 1998 he helped integrate CNC software into the existing AutoCAD software. In 2003, he became a lead engineer, working hand-in-hand with architects and interior designers to create on-budget millwork shop drawings that met the expectation and desires of our clients. In 2006, he became the Director of Engineering; his responsibilities include system integration, ensuring critical paths are met throughout the company, client value engineering integration and overseeing a current staff of 17 detailers with a combined 350 years experience. He has led Quality Cabinet's engineering and shop drawing efforts on numerous projects, including The Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Queen of Angels Church in Newport Beach, multiple Four Seasons Resorts, Hyatt and St. Regis Hotels, Trinity Yachts, various Disney projects and Trump Towers.
Gary Duckworth
Director of Material Procurement
Gary Duckworth has been in the architectural woodworking industry for over 40 years. He joined Quality Cabinet & Fixture Company in 1979 as a Millman, and then shortly thereafter, was promoted to Mill Foreman. In 1984, Gary was promoted to Assembly Foreman and Assistant Shop Superintendent. In 1987, he undertook the Materials department responsibilities, including material takeoff, stock billing, and purchasing manager. Currently, Gary serves as the Director of Materials Procurement and is responsible for all aspects of material requirements, working closely with project management, engineering, shop production and installation to ensure that our clients' expectations are met and surpassed.
Mark Wunderlich
Production Manager (Mexico)
Mark Wunderlich has 42 years of cabinet making experience. He has been with Quality Cabinet for 28 years, and has operated as the Production Manager in Mexico since 2006. Mark is an outstanding craftsman whose extensive high-end woodworking experience allows him to solve any manufacturing challenges.
Steve Scheet
Plant Manager (Mexico)
Steve Scheet has been with Quality Cabinet & Fixture Company for over 33 years. He has worked his way through the ranks from a ground level Union Apprentice Cabinet Maker to his current position as Quality Cabinet's Plant Manager, responsible for managing finishing, trim, and shipping. Steve also handles all of the shop scheduling, tracking, and trucking for the Mexico plant. His experience allows him to be comfortable with any projects undertaken, from small box jobs to multi-million dollar museum grade yacht millwork. He strives for 100% client satisfaction through on-time deliveries and total quality control.
